Saturday 30th August: The Mental Game of Running
Sunday 31st August: Running Strength & Conditioning

Have you ever wondered how the world’s top athletes cope under pressure? Do you want to keep running, run faster and stay injury free? Full Potential and partner Pure Sports Medicine are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for runners of all abilities and experiences to give their running a real boost this summer.

Come and join us for a full weekend or a single day workshop and find out how to play the mental game of running, be more confident with your training and racing and learn new skills and techniques to help you stay fit, focused and injury free. Become a shiny, confident and motivated runner! Book your place on a single day workshop or join us for the full weekend by emailing us at

Day 1: Saturday 30th August

Sports psychologist Dave Alred is the guy credited with helping England win the Rugby World cup. As the kicking coach he helped Johnny Wilkinson develop the edge, the self-belief and the confidence to perform. He’s acknowledged as the best in the world at his craft and he’s turning his hand (and mind) to helping runners tackle the mental game of training and racing. In addition, Liz Yelling (British Marathon champion, Olympian and Commonwealth medalist) will be fresh back from the Beijing Olympic marathon and she’ll be there to share her experiences and help you understand how to reach your personal running goals.

The day will also include a practical running coached session suitable for all abilities, interviews with Dave and Liz, the opportunity to informally discuss and review your own running and of course, lunch!

Day 2: Sunday 31st August

There’s nothing worse than a grumpy, injured runner! Banish running injuries and prevent further problems by understanding how to avoid common running niggles and take proactive measures to keep them at bay. Pure Sport practitioners & Full Potential will give you focused advice on body maintenance, injury prevention and recovery and show you how to do core stability and strengthening exercises.

You’ll develop a great repertoire of running related exercises, skills and drills and will leave with a clear understanding of the best exercises to do, when and why to use them and how to do them safely. There will be an early Sunday morning coached long run and the opportunity to talk to experienced Fullpotential coaches Nick Anderson, Keith Anderson, Liz Yelling and Martin Yelling. Lunch will also be provided.

Book your place on a single day workshop or join us for the full weekend. Click here to read more. To book your place email us at or call us on either 07795 460327 or skype: keithfullpotential
