NEW PBs AND RACE REPORTS ...

Anette Oakman (1:27:42), and Lee Braithwaite (1:29:53) both ran great races at the Newark half marathon 
* Natalie Greenaway ran an amazing new 10k PB of 47:23, despite having to stop and tie her shoe laces! 
* Anne Donaldon ran the Elmbridge 10k in 49.04 - yet another minute off a recent 3 min PB for the distance!
*Jon O'Shea ran the Rio de Janeiro marathon in 4hrs16mins (as part of a global marathon challenge series. Next stop, Antarctica in December!) 
* Anne Donaldson managed a 3min PB at the Yateley 10k on Wed eve. Taking her time from 53.13 to 50.10. Sub 50 beckons!
* Tom Anderson (Keith's son) won the Gigondas 11k trail race in Provence, despite record temperatures for race day
* Paul McCafferty set a new 10 mile PB of 59.33
* Annablle Stearns won the North Downs rail 30k race with a great time of 2.17.59 on a very hilly course! Fantastic achievement Annabelle! 
* Sue Watson ran a great race in the Surrey County Camps 10k, coming 5th in her age group with a finish time of 50.33
* Gill Stone - ran a superb and hilly leg at the South Downs Relay, claiming the top prize in the over 60's category
* Bede Fechan - ran a new PB time of 1.36.25 at the Redcar Half Marathon
* Judith Mitchell - ran an amazing new PB by over 8 minutes at the Bluewater 10K finishing in 51.25
* Cat Archer - completed the Comrades Marathon in a superb finishing time of 8.33.22, 117th female and 43rd in her category and still with something left in the tank!!  Well done Cat... an amazing achievement!

Charlie Long ran a superb new PB time of 3.47.06 
Lorraine Long ran a great time of 3.57.54, despite some severe ankle pain along the way
* MARATHON RELAY: Mixed Team featuring FP coached athletes:  Phil Killingley, Jo Rodriguez, Robin Tuddenham and Mark Rabbetts finished in 2ND PLACE coming home in a fantastic time of 2.32
* Richard Pickering's Ladies Relay Team also finished in 2ND PLACE (the team featured Anne Davies and Annette Oakman who recently joined us for some warm weather training in the Algarve).

AND GREAT PBS AND STORIES FROM THE VIRGIN LONDON MARATHON ......
* Karen Hazlitt, FP Coach, came across a club friend at mile 22 who was in a bad way - she couldn't run past him and instead helped him jog/walk to the finish line, finishing in a very special time of 3.25, appreciating the distance even more!
* Lyn Fenby ran a fantastic new PB time of 4.09 (she had her 4th baby in September and trains in 30 degree heat in Egypt!)
* Magda Bennett ran a new PB time of 3.30, knocking off 5 mins from her previous best time
* Nick Robey ran a new PB of 4.03.26, knocking an amazing 55 mins off his previous best AND dressed as Fred Flintstone!
* Brian Briggs ran a great new PB time of 3.21.36
* Gavin Reid ran a fantastic new PB time of 3.11.01
* Fiona Turton finished in a new time of 5.16.18
* Valerie Wilson ran a great time of 4.34.48, consolidating her recent Florence performance
* Natalie Biasin - ran a new PB time of 3.50
* Steve Watmough - ran a new PB time of 2.46
* Gemma Car - ran a great debut marathon in 4.16
* Nick Awbery - finished in a new PB time of 2.43

* Vanessa Barrett ran a superb PB time of 3.49.57 (she was hoping to just run sub 4hr)

* Jane Haddad also ran a new PB time of 3.25 
* Liz Wynn ran a great time of 3.03, her best marathon time for a few years
* Phil Killingley finished in a brilliant new PB time of 2.28
* Alan Chapman ran a great debut marathon time of 3.09
* Mark Chandler, ran a great marathon debut time of 3.41

* Dom Streeter ran a NEW PB BY OVER 45 MINUTES, finishing in a new time of 3.14.57!  Fantastic result Dom!
* Rob Marshall finished in a great time of 3.18.05
* Jane Edsell ran a great new PB time of 4.31, 9 mins faster than her Florence marathon time
* Tess Gallagher finished in a new PB time of 3.50
* Sam Barnes ran a great marathon debut time of 2.44
* Andrew Minter also finished in a new PB time of 4.04

* Anne Donaldson ran a new PB by over 3 mins at the Reading Half Marathon, in a new best time of 1.47.47

* Morgane Artacho ran a superb 23 minute marathon PB in Barcelona, finishing in a new time of 3.45!  Great result!
* Tess Gallagher finished the Bath Half Marathon in a new PB time of 1.52.15
* Steve Watmough also ran a new PB at Bath in a time of 78.51 mins
Nick Robey ran a new PB of 1.50.44 at Bath on his way towards the London Marathon
* Chris Somerfield ran a new PB at the Milton Keynes half finishing in a time of 1.33.04
* Natalie Biasin ran a new PB in 1.42 at Milton Keynes
* Bev Dockray ran a great new PB of 1.37.22 at Wokingham

WANT TO RUN AN AUTUMN MARATHON?  We're already taking bookings for our trip again to run the Florence Marathon. The course is flat and fast for you to achieve a GREAT PB TIME in 2010!   This is our 3rd year of taking a group of runners and EVERY year we have had a fantastic weekend with great results, PBs and superb stories along the way.
